about the writer.
when starting to write with someone, the first step to seeing whether or not you're compatible is determining whether you're comfortable with how they play. you needn't worry though, i've grown to like the anonymous factor in this psl thing above all else and will only be giving you the basics. that said? i've been playing and writing for a good chunk of time now. i'm twenty-two years old, a college graduate, and given my experience so far i'd like to think that i have a grasp on some of the basic rules of grammar and syntax. i mostly pb, as i don't feel all that comfortable with celeb but would give it a shot if the line came full parcel (AIM, threads, etc). i primarily play slash. OOC, i don't work from aim. you'll be seeing threading only from me, since i don't like to feel pressured for responses and, since i don't plan on dying off on you, you can reach me here, either in comments or pm. therefore, you don't need an aim sn out of me to go into talks for a line.
as far as the writing itself goes, examples will be available by request only. and so we don't waste one another's time: i write in storybook, the third person only. i'm not my character, you're not your character, so there won't be any i did x and y to you business. i won't respond well to present tense replies, those with asterisks or those using the first and second person. it's better that i let you know here than in the middle of a scene, right? i try to give a good two - three paragraphs, if not more, and would like around the same from my partners. i can't work off of one sentence responses, if that's how you play i apologize but we won't mesh.
when requesting something from me, don't be hesitant. i'm comfortable with all sorts of lines and would rather play out an adult scene than fade to black. my limits include extreme blood-play or anything to do with human wastes. you shouldn't feel shy about requesting anything. currently i'm most interested in lines dealing with the supernatural (vampires, werewolves, magic, time-travel, aliens), differences in age and those that involve some sort of taboo (stepbrothers, a teacher/student relationship).
another thing, i am also okay playing certain fandoms! namely, the vampire chronicles (i will not do anything directly from twilight), the harry potter series, heroes and a few characters from stephen king's dark tower universe. i'm lenient with these, so don't expect me to be a hard ass if you're just looking for something fun in one of those universes. and, though i'm not a huge fan of any comic book universe, i would love exploring original super-hero characters - a super-hero/sidekick scenario, the offspring of a super-hero and super-villain falling in love, or two teenagers discovering their powers for the first time.
now, who do i play? i'm open to all sorts of pbs but i do have my favorites, which you'll find listed below.

i'd prefer not to play against what could be considered alterative pbs - myspace celebrities, people with facial piercings, etc - but could be swayed if the writing and the idea itself is good enough.
